When using the cooling fan of industrial equipment, there is a fault and super vibration, and I don't know what caused it. Industrial equipment is different from other industries, it has relatively high requirements for fans, and the vibration of cooling fans of industrial equipment is inevitable, but the two-way maximum amplitude of fan bearings must not exceed 0.10mm.

 

Before using industrial equipment cooling fans, we should do a comprehensive inspection, including the quality inspection of the fan manufacturer, including whether there is damage and deformation during transportation, including the bending of the shaft, and the bending should not exceed 0.10mm; Therefore, due to limited conditions, the theodolite can only be used for rough detection on site.

 

At the same time, check whether the impeller at the outlet angle of the centrifugal fan blade is consistent with the manufacturer's preset drawing; use a vernier caliper to check whether the matching clearance between the main shaft and the impeller conforms to the preset drawing; and check whether the thickness of the air casing conforms to the pre-set drawing. Lastly, don't forget to check that the regulator valve and collector are functioning properly.

 

If there is no problem with the above, and the cooling fan still vibrates too much, it may be that the motor current is too large, the temperature rise is too high, and the motor coil is burned in severe cases. In addition, it can adversely affect bearing anchor bolts, bearings, shafts, and other parts. The reason for excessive vibration is also the vibration caused by the dynamic and static imbalance of the rotor, which is not only related to the quality of manufacturing, installation, and maintenance, but also may be asymmetric corrosion and wear during operation, uneven blade dust accumulation, and bending of the rotating shaft. The original balance weight of the rotor is displaced or dropped, and the air intake on both sides is unbalanced. This situation can reduce the vibration fan load, if the vibration exceeds the allowable value, the fan will automatically trip or stop manually. First of all, in order to reduce the vibration of industrial equipment cooling fans, we must strictly follow the correct installation process, including facility inventory and inspection; foundation inspection, marking, pad iron, and anchor bolt configuration. Then install the centrifugal fan, and pay attention to the smooth installation of each component; check the facilities after completion.
